Lori McGrone was born in Gary, IN, to her parents, Charles and Rossetta McGrone. Though she is the youngest of her 17 siblings, she was wise beyond her years. At an early age, Lori’s mother realized she had a gift that allowed her to clearly discern the voice of God. She tried explaining her gift to her daughter, but Lori didn’t view it as being special.
At the age of 11, Lori’s father passed away, and her life changed drastically. To find normalcy again, she moved out of her childhood home at the age of 15. Though Lori’s childhood had taken some rough turns, it pushed her to develop a ferocious prayer life. With intensified prayer, her giftings began to intensify. She began having encounters with the Lord that would leave her in awe.
Though she had a strong foundation in Christ, Lori suffered a devastating divorce that led to her battle with depression and anxiety. Lori was now a mother and knew she had to recover for not only herself but for her daughter. Because Lori was fighting for her and her daughter’s lives, she began seeking God heavily once again. He reminded her of Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
Though God put her in remembrance of His Word, she didn’t immediately believe. Lori tried to lull her giftings to sleep because she felt overwhelmed with the weight of her calling. The Lord began drawing her back to Him with lovingkindness. It took years before Lori completely surrendered to the call on her life as a prophet and deliverer. But she now stands firm, in full agreement with heaven, declaring, this is the will of God concerning you! Lori’s goal is to travel the world to encourage people to trust God’s process and know that He will never leave you nor forsake you.

This book will delve into the life of a woman with spiritual gifts who was getting ready to go on a journey with God because of a life-changing decision that was impressed upon her. As a child, Lori heard the voice of God very clearly. His speaking to her gave her wisdom and foresight far beyond her years. As she grew, she began spending more time in God’s presence.
With more time spent, Lori began hearing God’s voice more intensely while other gifts began to awaken. This frightened Lori, and she began trying to silence His voice. She no longer wanted to be responsible for passing on messages that He’d given her to relay, and she definitely wanted a break from peering over into the realm of the spirit. She wanted a “normal life,” whatever that was. So, she spent intentional time blocking out the voice of God, to some avail.
With making her life-changing decision, Lori discovered the very God she had been running from would be the very one that she’d be running to. God would be using the very gifts of seeing and hearing that helped others to help her. It took many years and encounters with God for Lori to surrender to the process of cultivating the gifts He’d given her. Because of God’s pursuit, Lori has come to peace and is secure in the gifts that He’s entrusted with her. God is still speaking and has more to tell and show her.
