Margo is a God-favored wife, mother of four adult children, and author. Writing has been her passion for as long as she can remember. Margo was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in March 2004, while she was pursuing her bachelor’s degree. After many years of trial and error, she, along with her doctor’s help and God’s grace, has mastered a life of recovery and hope. Margo lived a productive, happy, and peaceful life in Texas with her husband.
She was a proud survivor of many things, especially suicide attempts, and cancer because otherwise, she would’ve missed the incredible adventures of being a grandma!
Note: Sadly Margo passed away on March 12, 2023, but we want to keep her legacy alive through her book.
About Her Book – Grace in the Fire
Grace in the Fire is a transparent memoir written by author Margo Williams. This true story follows the author’s mental health journey, step by step, from the beginning to the present. The story begins in 2003, while Margo was pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree. Her life was excitingly busy with the hustle and bustle of family, work, school, and church. However, by the end of 2003, her life had suddenly turned upside down and dark as night, and no one could understand why all she wanted to do was die. In March of 2004, she found herself in her first admission to a
mental health facility and diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder.
Margo is compelled to share her story to give people hope and knowledge that they’re not alone. She wants people struggling with mental illnesses, along with their caregivers, friends, and loved ones to know recovery is real. You can live a productive life, fulfill your dreams, and be happy, even after receiving mental health diagnosis. It doesn’t have to mean your life is over. It doesn’t have to be the end of your world.
In Loving Memory of Margo Williams
